How To Bring Peace Into Your Home.

1, Handle your paperwork right away. Place your mail in a beautiful bin where it is hidden out of site. Those advertisements and all of that information can give you stress because you know you have to go through it all but not now. Go away for now. We're trying to relax.

2, Hang up your coat at the front door and kick off your shoes. Put your softest slippers on. You know, the ones you left by the door.  Sometimes I wear two pairs of slippers just to give my feet some extra love.

3, Pop your phone on the charger and give it a rest. Take a break from technology and make yourself a cup of tea. Your home now after a long day. Get into it.

4, Sometimes I put some soft music on after a long day and sometimes I watch Ellen because she makes me laugh and reminds me that through her philanthropy others have it worse then me. Use a DVR to record feel good programs.

5, Take a long hot shower and put your PJ's on if your not going out. It's winter now. No one knows its 6pm and your already in you Pj's. Find some pajamas or lounge wear that is both soft & beautiful. Take your time and use all of your supplies in your bathroom. Straighten up before you exit.

Together we can figure it out

What is Holistic Organizing?

To me holistic living means to be mindful and connected mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally to both spirit and earth. Listen and feel for clues. What is your body, your mind, your heart telling you?

The relationship between organizer and client is different for everyone. Together we will co-design our relationship. We will focus on the present values and goals. It is time for you to have the support you need. The gentle nudge to move forward and an accountability partner who deeply cares.

Like you, I have a crazy busy life. Like you, I am constantly trying to move forward, to feel the fear and do it anyway. Like you, I have been through a lot. Let's talk.

The Holistic Mom’s Network says “Holistic living is the art of living in balance with ourselves and our environment. Understanding and respecting that all things are interconnected is at the heart of a holistic lifestyle.Holistic living is about taking responsibility for our actions and choices in the knowledge that these choices have consequences for all living things on the planet.

At the Holistic Moms Network™, we work hard to bring parents together and to support them in a holistic philosophy and lifestyle.  We recognize that there are many choices and paths within the holistic lifestyle.  As an organization, our mission is support parents wherever they are on their journey and whatever choices they have made.  We seek to support parents and educate them about holistic living, without excluding them for their choices.

As HMN Advisory Board Member and Publisher of Mothering Magazine Peggy O’Mara says:   “Successful advocacy rests on holding a position without being positional. And while we don’t always feel we can compromise where our children’s needs are concerned, we can develop a capacity to insist on our position without insulting others.”

HOLIO, Holistic Organizers say,

“Going beyond basic organizing systems and techniques, Holistic Organizers advocate an evolving paradigm for professional organizing that includes a compassionate, heart-centered approach and integrates spiritual/holistic principles and practices (however we each choose to define them). We choose the word “holistic” because it focuses on and respects all aspects of a client’s life—physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. Our approach is not rooted in any particular spiritual or religious tradition and honors all paths. We consider our work as sacred and know it is possible to transform lives with the work we do in the world.”

Sun symbol for me represents life in its most positive form. The warmth of the sun calms me & makes me feel nurtured. I am always eager to move forward. To learn my lesson, let go, forgive & move on. The sun helps me do this. It gives me hope for the future. The colors of the sun are seen throughout my home.
